Not that I don't put it past the government but she was telling me tonight that the government is lying about the amount of radiation thats been leaking out in Japan and that I should be taking kelp to counteract radiation falllout. She was also saying they haven't locked it down because they're consciously killing people. Saying it was worse than Chernobyl. She was also saying the chem trails from the jets because they've been spraying the sky will cause acid rain and that I shouldn't go outside when it rains heavily. Seriously? is she listening to herself? Her bf is online all the time on these hokey websites and he's feeding her this stuff and I'm starting to worry a bit. It's not that I don't believe it's possible but she's starting ti sound like a paranoid freak. Though I'd never tell her that. I just nod and listen.

You take them in pill form like any other vitamin. They're sold in health food stores. I saw them on the self of the local organic/all natural grocer here.
Seriously Cam? To call one indirectly ignorant because they may not know about a town in a country they're not even from? Hell I must be ignorant of my own state we have so many Podunk towns with merely 100s of people it's hard to keep track of them all.

No not me but she did put it out there for anyone who may not know where Darwin is.
Read the reports again, they said it WOULD reach Australia... This is a direct quote from The Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency, "Due to weather patterns either side of the equator, there will be minimal plume movement to the southern hemisphere."
The amounts detected were millions of times lower than safe levels...

But, perhaps I could have used the word "uninformed"
and as for YOU personally being ignorant? Well, I shall refrain from sayin anything else, I'll let others be the judge of that.
Of course they need that disclaimer. These are independent sites reporting data. They need to cover their ass in case one of them malfunctions and gives off false readings and causes a panic.
Just look at the monitors and you can see that the average is just that, average background radiation.

When it first happend, I watched on TV, numerous "experts" from Lucas Heights (Our reactor for the ignorant
) saying it would not reach here. One of themI had worked with (Yes, I worked there for a short time)Perhaps they were just "sound bites" I dont really know.
Obviously thats changed since the situation over there has gotten worse., and I know the levels are only low, but they're still there.
