my morning has sucked hows yours?

so I wake up to the phone ringing its my son, hes at my moms he says "mom grandmas ok but she passed out and stopped breathing the ambulence is on the way"
OMG!!!!! WHAT THE HELL!!!!!! so I tell him to get his butt across the street to watch my daughter so I can go over there and check on my mom, when I get there shes up and alert and I meet the first responders in the driveway. They gave her the choice to go on the ambulence or have my dad take her to the ER and of course she wont go with them so they are at the ER now, Im just sitting here waiting, biting my nails. So not cool :confused Im sure shes going to be fine but Im wondering what in the heck happened here.

Scary, stuff...maybe she just had not eaten and it got to her a bit. Are you sure she stopped breathing? I have said a prayer for you, Audra

thats what he said I dont know for sure he said he couldnt feel a pulse or hear a heart beat he was ready to put her on the floor when she came to, it was all in a matter of less than a minute that she passed out and he was yelling to call 911 so maybe not. She passed out twice though before they came though its just really scarey.

omg that is scary! Audra I hope your mom is alright! If they don't know what happeend, I would go get a second opinion.

My morning has been ok, it's my day off and I didn't get to sleep in because I had to take matt to drop his car off at the honda dealership to fix some rattling sound in his car or something. But tonight at midnight we get paiddddd! thats good.

ok heres the update seems its a pile of things they are keeping her Im headed out to the hospital now
yesterday she had an upper GI done so some of this may be resulting from test results from that too
shes dehydrated,shes got a bladder infection,her blood sugar was high (why I dont know she hasnt had problems with this before) and she needs to talk to a surgen today about her gall bladder

shes having surgery tomorrow afternoon and yeah shes feeling alot better thanks again guys I guess they think it was all from her gall bladder

Ive always heard that a gallbladder attack feels like you are having a heart attack. Im just glad that it wasnt a heart attack or anything more serious.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that her surgery goes well.

My grandmother just recently had her gallbladder removed.

She said when it was inside her it was the most painful thing ever.

My grandmother was just about the most unhealthy person ever. She had everything wrong with her and barelly could walk.

But she just had it removed and it's like she's 20 again or something. The doctors said that when you have a bad gallbladder it messes up just about everything inside of you because it seeps "poison" throughout your whole body system.
