My Friend Died...

I just got a call from my childhood best friend. We havent spoke in alittle over a year (due to the distance) Anyways.. She informed me that one of our old friends was found in a motel room last night dead from an overdose. Seems that he was on methodone and he had a prescription of Zanex (90 tablets) filled the day before.. well they only found 30 or so left in the bottle. He always had drug problems (the bad drug problems)..

May he rest in peace.

Sorry to hear that Veronica. Off topic, but the toxicology report on that Daniel Smith dude found methadone in his systems as well. That must be some really bad stuff to get mixed up in. Don't know much about it myself.

My sister has been on methadone for the last 4-5 years. She is just now getting her dosage lowered so they can take her off it.. BUT the worse part is that a year ago she got extremely addicted to zanex (same as shawn, my old friend). She was taking a bottle at a time too. I am LUCKY that she didnt die too. I called her after I found out about Shawn and told her how much I love her. She was crying.

Im so sorry to hear that, V....my brother is on that track too, addicted to pain meds and and other stuff. Hes not healthy at all, there are other factors contributing to it as well.

I took Xanax for about 3-4 months about 3 yrs ago and I did not like the way it made me feel. I started taking it because I had a newborn and working nights, etc. I was stressing so bad. It made me feel like I was so tired all the time. I fell off the porch one time and fx my ankle.

Thats how my sister was.. She was constantly asleep and doing shit to hurt herself (not on purpose). One time she was cooking and spilled the entire fry pan of oil on her arm. She was taken to the hosp and has 2nd-3rd degree burns from it. She has a bad scar from it now. She was in 2 accidents (both times she fled the scene.) It just screwed her up soooo bad. Im proud she got off the crap.

As for mr. Anti-clock.. I could care less what you say. Most of these people on this site are my friends. I didnt want anyone's sympathy.. Just wanted to let it out. He was messed up on drugs and wasnt strong enough to fight it or rather beat it.
