I understand the neg rep system, and i used to get really butt hurt by it if i received a neg.
What i find really sad is when someone joins the site and because their opinions/humor differs they are automatically put into a category and made to feel quite unwelcome. Especially when threads are made voicing the actions of said neg rep.
There are bound to be cliques on any forums but it does seem a little upsetting to be name and shamed as a troll before they get a foot in the door.
If im correct this person apologized for the joke, admitted it was in bad taste..and that should be the end of it.
