.... are always sitting in the same tree. One is on a branch about 60' off the ground and the other is about 20' further up the tree. This is the pair that's been living at my local lake for a very long time. One is the male and the other is the female. They had two chicks this year but one was killed when a big storm hit a few weeks back and knocked it out of the nest.
RIP little eagle... RIP.
I sat there waiting for them to fly so I could get a shot while they were in the air but it didn't happen until I turned my back to walk away. Just my luck....
