Well we had a military funeral for my dad, Friday. It was very moving and though I knew it was coming I still jumped everytime they shot the military rifles. They gave me 3 shells and said they could give me more if I or anyone else wanted some. I took them but really why do I want gun shells? :eek

They also presented the flag and folded it and gave it to me. That I very much liked. Joe and I are going to fly it and the Irish flag on the property when we move there.

It was a nice short ceremony. Some of his ashes are going in an urn there and some are going to be spread out on the Palouse where he and some of his friends went bird hunting a lot.

Now Joe is working 4-12 all week! YUK. I might be on here occasionally. I also want to try and go alcohol free this week. Both Joe and I want to save money for working on the property and we can't do it if we are daily drinking.

May he rest in peace and may you find the strength to move forward.
