you have spyware man. get spybot search and destroy and run the program. this will tell you which files are infected with what. then google up the viruses you have (my guess are a couple Trojan. Downloaders.) then follow the directions on removal when you google the virus you have.

I'm reading your thoughts? Winodws 2,000 and above lets you do a restore from a previous date. Thats if he can get to his Desktop.

windows ME allowed system restores as well, but that might be in the time schedule with win2000
