My biology teacher is getting really annoying...

So she assigned us to a reading assignment 2 nights ago, right? Then we come back the next day and we have a quiz on the material we read... most people read it so we weren't actually intimidated, until we got the freakin' quiz!They weren't obvious general questions, you would of had to study the chapter to get the questions right!

One of the questions was like What are the four basic parts of a mullusk? I was like.... um.... I remember that they have a shell.... so I got 2 points out of 10 that will look great on my grade! Most of my friends got 2 or 3 points one of my friends claims she got 7 but, I think she lied.

Anywho my teacher just been a real pain lately, like grading super tough on labs even though she didn't tell us we had to write three pages.... It's just starting to piss me off! :mad Even straight A students aren't getting their regular grades, stop taking whatever it is out on us Mrs. Lane!
 
Ehhhhh, don't worry about it. Soon you will be in the real world and everything is much simpler. No supprizes, no one to tell you what to do. You can talk as much as you like. Paycheck majicly appears in your account every friday.
Who am I kidding? You have it made now, fail the grade and stay in school as long as you possibly can. Who knows you may even learn more about mollusk. ( very easy to work into any conversation )
 
hmm sounds like she is preparing you for college actually. That sounds like something a professor would do. Give you 1 night to read the chapter and then give you a quiz over minute details the next day. The best thing to help you would be to take notes when you read and then study your notes.

No .. each test, quiz, ect makes up for a cummulative grade, the final exam is just a major chunk of your grade. Attendance can also play a role in your grade as well. At my college, if you miss more than 25% of the classes (unexcused misses) .. which equals up to 6 missed classes .. your grade will drop 10% (A letter grade basically).

At our school each teacher makes up his/her own tests and quizzes .. that way no one can get the one from another class and use it as an answer key to cheat the following year.

colleges around here are really strict. Well the community ones at least. Here you can't miss more than 3 classes or the teacher will drop you a letter grade, and if you miss more than 3 without contacting the teacher, they can drop you from the class. Really, its kind of by the teacher, a lot of them think those rules are too strict so they kind of help ya out when you have to miss.
