I shouldnt admit mine has been that way for a long time now, but I'm the typical guy who won't go to the doc unless its super bad. Now Haus can go get us diagnosed...awesome. Thanks bro.

OK I looked around a bit and found lots of possible causes from harmless (bad shoe fit) to diabetes. I don't have diabetes so who knows. Dont be a dumb dude like me, go get it checked.

Ooooops, sorry didn't quite mean to put it like that. Hope that doesn't scare you Haus but that just came to mind as House asked that question.

Speaking of, I noticed this morning that the little finger on my left hand is feeling kind of numbish. Kind of like when the blood circulation is cut off for a while and you get that numb sensation, kind of tingly too. The finger next to it also but not quite as much.

It's strange. Don't know if cause I slept badly on it last night or what. I figured it would have passed. Have to see how that goes.

1.5 months is kind of long for that to be happening tho Haus. You should really go get it checked out. Do you remember bouncing it or anything? Anything at all preceding when you realised it?

LOL Maulds - funny! :D ;)

I was about to mention possible diabetes or even circulation not getting there for some reason, although diabetes can cause lack of circulation, depending which type of diabetes it is I think.

Maulds, how do ya know you don't have diabetes or anything, if you haven't been to docs, hummm? Get yr ass there now!!!! :p ;)

I think Bob Marley had something to do with his toe and he died from that.

Hi CB - He died of a Cancerous brain tumour in the end, which stemmed from that toe he had injured and not got seen to for sometime - then he did get it done, but apparently it had turned out that the toe was cancerous - obviously spread to his brain. I remember that time, was so sad - I love reggae music, just not been the same since him.

A couple of things haven't been mentioned that you might want to consider.
Your shoes. If they're not fitting right, or if you have a slight twist in the foot/ankle/leg/hip when you walk which could make them have undue pressure on specific areas of your toe, that may cause numbness. Even the wrong type of sock can cause your foot to slide in your shoe.
Diabetics do tend to have foot problems, but you'd probably have loads of others symptoms if it was so bad that it caused peripheral neuropathy (which is circulation problems in the extremeties). With no other symptoms, I wouldn't think diabetes is a possibility.
Another possibility is gout. Men do tend to get this more than women. The thing is, gout is usually pretty painful, so I am leaning toward it not being that, but the potential is there if it's a mild case.

well i got checked for Diabetes in September. i do not have it. i called to make an appointment to see the doctor and they wanted to see my right away. called around 3pm and had my appointment at 4 pm. she looked at my toe and noticed its white and told her how it feels numb/ asleep for the past 1.5 months. she checked it out so i have to get a exray of my foot. and see a podiatrist.

but on a better note i played 731 today in the lottery for a dollar straight and just won 500.00
