I found this to be interesting and yes, it does explain a "few" things.
Now, I have a few Muslim friends that might not find it as humorous as others, and out of respect for over a billion people, I am going to make the observation that there are members of the Muslim faith that don't practice a number of the teachings of Mohammed, yet consider themselves as strong Muslims.
I also know that there are a respectable number of Muslims that were converted to Islam, and are not direct descendants from generations of inbreeding and they have a voice and a place as well.
The instinctive behavior of Humans to not get along with members of their own families, is one of the key components of human behavior that is predicated on the biological need for a diverse gene pool.
Having a diverse gene pool is also another of the many instinctive behaviors many humans have found irrational reasons to circumvent.
Inbreeding can also be a catalyst for higher rates of domestic violence and the subconscious rational for a number of other practices that reflect an awareness but not and acknowledgment of the problems associated with the biological realities of chronic inbreeding.
