The other day I was just pondering on how the music industry keeps crying fowl on piracy and then it occurred to me that we want to make millions of dollars from our bedrooms. The sports industry makes a ton of money on a daily basis because they give you something to watch. And that something is definitely worth your money and efforts. Second rate computer music does not deserve my attention, let alone my money.

I assume you are referring to concerts and performances?

Anyway, i think performances should be live and not dubbed. If you are a singer then sing. It is quite annoying to see people on stage lip syncing to their own songs!

I'm confused, are you saying that music is best listened to live? If you are I agree.
Are you saying piracy of music is ok? I used to pirate music when I was a child.

Can you clarify your post?

Dude, if a studio album is made in a bedroom or in a professional studio, it doesn't make a difference. Most musicians do play their music live, even the hack laptop DJs. Like the previous poster said, I don't really know what the point of this topic is.

I totally agree with you on that but people make "computer music" because it does sound better than a live band and it's easier to do. For example, I have certain instruments in my music which are live instruments but if you have live drums, then the effect is different than it is with computer drums.
I believe that when someone gives a concert, everything should be live and the singer should sing live too because there are a lot of singers nowadays who lip sync and that just kills the whole experience. I also sing live, I think that if people pay to see you, then that is the least you can do.

Music on concerts should be only live. I understand if there are songs that require an orchestra and the artist can't include that in performance, but even then I'd rather listen to cameral acoustic version than playback sounds.

A lot of acts are making all of their money off tours! Phish haven't sold the most albums by a long shot, but they're making a killing touring and have made their presence inescapable. I've got huge respect for the guys who go out and put on a good show year after year, it's something you can't fake.
