This is not a criticism of the HDR, but I feel that the 1st and 3rd HDR photos are slightly overdone
The 1st is a bit purpley while there is too much definition on the 3rd one

What program is this Guyzer? I love the effect, I know it's not very naturalistic on some of the mountain shots but I'm a fan of pictures that look enhanced

You posted a few from your weekend excursion to Madrid if that's what you're talking about. You take nice shots Tuffy but it isn't often you put them up for all to see and if you do maybe it's me that's missing them. I dunno.

Also, we have on this thread people who don't post anything, how about telling them instead of bugging me about it?

A lot of those people don't take pictures or if they do maybe some feel intimidated by others. I hope the latter isn't the case but I'm kinda thinkin' I'm right. The reason I'm on your case is twofold... 1 - because of my post above, 2 - because you are an aspiring pro according to some of your posts so I think it's high time you get with it.

Have fun. Just make sure you work on a copy and not your original. Try a few variations of the same shot just to see what can be done. It's an easy program to work with but it's also very easy to blow the shot all to hell as I've done in a few of mine. Be sure to post a few later on ok. One more thing. HDR really likes a combination of water and clouds. If you have some of those shots try them.

At the moment I am designing a website, which limits my photography, plus I wouldn't want to put my photos that I hold dear. Would you put photos on here that would earn you tonnes of money? I doubt it

A good example is the tiff between you and Zirc this morning. You were so far off base it's not even funny. Anyway.. enough of that.

you do take some good stuff tufts,but as for making you tons of money,do you realise just how much established competition there is out there?

now most people here use a compact and take mainly family pictures,pictures that they might not want to share with the world

now tufts,i think the problem here is that you have the tendency to over criticize,you might not realise that you do it but it is there

i dont think that most are too intimidated to post pictures because they only have to ask how to improve what they are doing,we all had to start somewhere did we not

I know that I post more on other people's photos than I do actually post them, but my reasoning is, I want to save my good photos for the competitions that keep popping up

Over criticise, is that it? OK, as far I have said, basically the same thing as some posters have said on here, if you want to deem any criticism I make on yours or Guyzerr's photos, you can do either one of two things here, ignore what is said or discuss with the person as too why they said that, don't bicker and complain about the lack of the person's posting photos, it is my photos that I take and it is my decision too make. I don't here a load of people complain too me about the lack photo posting. If you, zirc and guyzerr don't like it, well that is tough isn't it?

Yeh, HDR can either look good or really bad cause its been waayyy over done...think uve managed to get something in between the two..but nice attempt! Did u use various photos or let the program do it itself from one photo?

That's OK Guyzerr. Don't worry about him and me. I mean...I've had my eye on him for a long time and I really thought he liked me too. Heck, I thought it was going to be forever. And then the revelation this morning that I'm not tall enough for him. It just shattered everything and...and... I don't know if I can recover from this.
