It's confusing, which is the only reason I don't like it. I wander on here and suddenly MrAWatts has a thread that's 5 pages long that I'd posted in but don't remember doing.

So then I have to see what I said, and if an old school member has come back. It's just my personal preference to not be confused which is why I don't like two year old threads being revived for no apparent reason.

Just don't pay attention to me. I'm going to make that post every single time an old thread is brought up.
