For me, Avatar. A lot of people said they felt it was too hyped and so they hated it - I managed to not read a single thing about the movie before it came out, so I had no real idea what it was about or what to expect. As a result - loved it.

Also the newest Star Trek. I've seen the old movies and you know, they're hit and miss, so I wasn't expecting much from the new one. Turned out to be one of my favourite films! Seen it like five times.

i agree with Avatar, I had heard alot of the hype beforehand but I still loved it

I love the Dark Knight, it's one of my favorite movies. Also, UP was amazing. The story, the characters, the animation, ALL TOP NOTCH!

I will admit I never watched Slumdog Millionaire again and don't plan to, but I enjoyed it when I did.
