i raced bmx in the NBL from 10yrs old-14yrs old and won state championship in GA and was 7th in region points standings and 49th in nation only b/c i went to louisville, ky and broke my hand in the 2nd heat (2nd straight, 1st double- 30ft gap, overshot) :rock

i raced mx when i was like 5-8 yrs old

i rode a gt power series expert with answer shocks, aftermarket handlebars and odi grips (i fell and broke mine at the regional in tallahassee florida. i had sun ringle cr18 wheels with a presta tube filled with helium :rock . i ran a 44 tooth sproket in front and a 16 tooth sproket on my rear wheel hub i had a bulletproof hub in my custom wheels. i rode clipless pedals and a 75mm crank arm. i kicked ass and won every race just wasnt very high in points b/c traveling was expensive...

now that i look back, my childhood kicked ass compared to the lazy kids of today...

hell yea man i feel the same way, i got everything i wanted, but worked my ASS off to get it, i see so many kids today with rich fucking parents just gettin shit bought for them constantly and not doing anything to get it, im making sure my kid isnt a spoiled little bitch that watches tv all day (sorry if any of you have rich parents that buy u lots.. im just jealous :fu )

no my parents are well-off but they dont spoil me (besides when i was too young to work they obught my dirtbike and bmx bike..)

the deal with my car was my parents would put 2 grand each in and i had a savings account with 1 thousand dollars from when i was born. well i drained the account and spent 5300 for my car. the day i got my liscence i applied for 6 jobs. i got 2 interviews and accepted the one offering 6.25/hr bagging groceries and cashiering at publix.

i put out 20-30 hr weeks and bring home about 150 bucks a week. all i pay for i car insurance and gas. one weeks paycheck = insurance, the other 3 are for mods :rock

the way i feel is if you dont pay for or earn something yourself, you cant appreciate or respect what you have

I dont race personally. My friend, Jason Luburgh, races pro-class. He just signed with kawasaki as a factory backing. My brother signed with them as his pit crew chief. Another close friend races pro-am. I'm around the races a lot, but never had time to race.

totally motorcross. i dont race myself and i dont actually own any bikes (at the moment) but i've always been a fan of motorcross. my mate does it tho and says its painful the first time you fall but then after that you know your bones will heal. lol.
