Sorry, I just feel the need to rant so I shall tell you all a little story. (OK, fine...it's a long story :ninja)I ordered my mom some flowers from FTD.com last week for Mother's Day. I changed my order twice because I kept getting emails that the bouquet I had chosen was not available to be delivered to her area. After receiving a THIRD email like that I finally called them and was told that there was no florist in her area that filled FTD orders. The CSR told me that I could have them sent by FedEx but I'd have to (surprise surprise) choose a different bouquet. So I did that and we got things worked out. Later that day I got another email saying that the bouquet I had chosen was not available to be delivered to her area.
Because I hate calling people I went back online and changed it again from there. After that revision I didn't receive any more emails so I figured things were good to go. The flowers were scheduled to be delivered on May 5. I called my mom the next day and she had not received any flowers. :willy_nilly: She didn't get her flowers over the weekend either. I tried calling a couple of times this week but whenever I called I was put on hold and didn't feel like wasting my cell phone battery for 30+ minutes so I didn't talk to anyone until today.
The person I talked to this morning apologized for everything and said that they could have it sent out tomorrow. Yeah, it was late but my mom was still going to get her flowers so I was cool with that. Wouldn't you know it, about half an hour later I get an email saying that my order couuldn't be delivered as scheduled and I needed to call to reschedule.
So I called and was told again that there weren't any florists that would deliver to my mom's area. That's nice. What about that FTD Direct thing I was told about???? All the guy would tell me was that there weren't any florists. So I finally just cancelled the order and got a refund.So, my mom was neglected by me again for Mother's Day this year.
