Thanks Siph. It really wasn't that windy just a slight breeze. Them feathers are real light I suppose.I love the look on the face of pole Eagle. Looks mighty windy up there. That is my favourite shot of all the recent bird pics you've posted :thumbup
Thanks JC.Love your photos, Guy![]()
I said I was ok with chucking a lens at a flying bird but only if it's a Nikon.Since you seem to be opposed to throwing lenses at birds to make them fly, I'd like to suggest an alternative use for my cookies. If you let them sit around for awhile they'll get nice and hard. Then you can chuck them at your birds and they'll fly away. Conversely, you could also use the cookies as bait to get the birds to fly towards you, since they're so tasty.![]()
Excellent photographs, Guyzerr.
Thanks Xeno. I'm glad you enjoyed them.
They make excellent projectiles if you over bake them.I said I was ok with chucking a lens at a flying bird but only if it's a Nikon.
About your cookies... they were really, really good :thumbup and we never gave them time to dry out nor would I feed 'em to the birds. They have seed for that.
When I bake cookies I make Oatmeal & Raisin cuz they are my all time fav's. I haven't made any since last April though cuz I don't eat a lot of baked stuff. It puts my sugar levels up to high and I figure I'm sweet enough as it is.They make excellent projectiles if you over bake them.![]()
Thanks Ian. I am starting to get used to the lens. :thumbupthese are arguably your best yet
Aura it isn't a stupid question. Bald Eagles don't get their white heads until they mature which is around the fifth year.how young is this bird? I thought eagles had white heads *please forgive my stupidity*
