Does money makes you happy? What are your thoughts about this. For me money does not bring happiness. There are some rich people that are never happy. They say that money is everything but everything is not money.

Candidly speaking money is what makes the world revolves. Money becomes evil when possession of it becomes an obsession. We cannot perform well without money but it should be spent wisely and moderately. Money must make you happy.

For me having a lot of money is not happiness, but happiness is when we can benefit others with the money I have. So, the more money you have, the more opportunities you have to achieve a lot of happiness.

It depends on how you make use of your money. If you try to buy happiness through possession of materialistic things, you won't get happiness. However, if you use your money for good cause, help those in need, you'll feel rewarding.

Well it is one thing for one to have money and another for the person to be happy as no always having money makes people automatically become happy people as there are lots of people who are wealthy but are not happy because there are some things they can not do and some places they cannot enter. But if one gets to have money and then they are happy, it is the best gift which life can afford to offer to such people or persons to be honest with you. Money gives one some sort of comfort and confidence but not automatic happiness.

…a balance of both, really…I don’t mean having riches but not having money worries would be the thing for many reasons…the main thing to have is health, an obvious one I know…for sure there are some very wealthy people who struggle to be in a good/happy place and struggle with mental well-being despite their wealth…I guess that we’ll never know how that emotional wellbeing would be if they also had money worries as another layer of struggle …plus the layers that would bring that aren’t experienced now…interesting…

There has long been a discussion about whether money can provide happiness or not. While having money might give us with material luxuries and a sense of security, it is not always the route to real and lasting happiness. Additional wealth does not significantly contribute to increased pleasure after a certain point, according to research. In other words, if our fundamental necessities, such as food, housing, and clothes, have been addressed, increasing income may not always result in increased happiness.
