Mom Shot Eight Times While Holding Toddler

Police say an El Dorado woman who was shot eight times as she held her two-year-old daughter is recovering at a local hospital.

Police say 34-year-old Steven D. Thompson shot 32-year-old Jacqueline Patterson twice in the abdomen, twice in the left thigh, twice in the right thigh, once in the right knee and once in the right calf.
