So what is the most trouble you ever got in with your parents?

I suppose mine were rubbish stuff like them finding porno in my room, some people have to have stories that are a lot better than mine (freakin' goody two shoes!!)

When I was a teenager I got caught having sex in my parents bed. My parents threw me out of the house and told me to go live with the guy I was with. They didn't take me back in until about 5 years later when I brought home a grandaughter...What can I say? Their bed was bigger than mine! :ninja

When I decided that I hated living on campus and wanted to leave only after a month. It wasn't that I was home sick, just that the constant noise, gossip, partying, and drama became a distraction. I was afraid they'd be pretty darn annoyed at me and would think that I was merely quitting college.

Thankfully, they handled it fine and frankly said that they didn't want me to be away at school if I hated it and couldn't get work done. So, I withdrew during the first semester, but am now commuting to a SUNY school that's about an hour away.

My parents never really cared until I got pregnant. I could do anything I wanted and I bloody well did.

My brother and sister don't have the freedom I had. My mum and dad go crazy if my sister (who's 16) comes home after 9pm. I remember once when I was 16, me and Zorak walking in at like 4am and going to sleep on the sofa. My sister wouldn't be allowed to do that at all.

only time I can remember my dad really being mad at me was when I got fired from the Nursing Home I worked at, and that was because I payed some of the bills.

I got in trouble all the time...

But the most... I got in a lot of trouble for prank calling the police, from school and parents. And I actually didn't do that. I got in far less trouble for finding the little prick that laid the blame on me and knocking out his teeth. Funny how that works :D

Generally, my parents were pretty lenient, while my school would go ape shit over anything. They didn't believe that boys would be boys lol

back in 1989 I stole my dad's credit card and racked up a big bill...My parents kicked me out. changed the locks and everything ( my clothes were all put into a trash bag and left out on the front yard with a note to take it or we will throw it away). My older brothers (married and living across the street) wouldn't allow me in their house (you stole from Dad, how can we trust you) all I did was work.( to pay off the debt) lived with friends here and there. had to sell a stock portfolio to settle the debt that I inherited from my grandmother ( yes it was that big) that December my father left a message for us to meet. he told me his cancer wasn't getting better and if I wanted to be back in the fold I would pay him his debt and a formal apology in front of the family. New Years eve we agreed would be the date. We went to the stockbrokers office that morning and it was done. He and I never talked the ride over, but as we were about to enter the house and said I was never to do what I did again. As the moments drew near for me to say my speech my dad got the last of the credit card bills with my undoings. He sighed and said,"Thank God this headache is almost over" That January of 1990 his cancer did get progressively worse. I started a new leaf and new job. Promised him I would do better. Dad died in 1991. Every once and a while I remember this....and wince, but i am OK....just hope he understands how sorry I truly was and am we didn't have any time together. I did take care of him, when I could (he chose to stay at home) and the 22nd of this month is his 19th anniversary...

Busted with a pile of LSD and some other shit when I was 14 back in 1967. I thought my parents would kill me, than hang me, then beat the life out of me but all they said was " we'll help you however we can". Surprised the hell out of me. :eek I was never charged by the cops so I don't know if they would have or not.:clap I always wanted to axe the cops why they didn't charge me but I had second, third and fourth thoughts about it. :D

I pierced my belly button when I was 15 on a church retreat. I took the safety pin out and couldn't get the ring in, so I had to let it close back up. As soon as it did, I redid it and my found a note where I told a friend about it. I was terrified she was going to rip it out. Thankfully, my dad was in Alabama, and wasn't home.

There was another time, and I can't remember exactly what I did, but my dad was in Iraq and my mom had told him I'd done something. She regretted it and told me NOT to answer the phone, no matter what. Came home from school one day to a message from my dad. In his most Marine-y voice, "This is for my little girl. I'm looking for you and it won't be pretty when I find you." Wish I could remember what I had done.

It had to be the year I made a stand and ran away. I was gone for maybe 10 hours. I wanted more freedom such as my friends younger than me had. I left crumbs as to my whereabouts because I was scared shitless to run. The friend I was running with had major issues and talked me into going with her. I'm glad my crumbs led my parents right to us.

After I was taken home.... negotiations were made.... that we could all live with.

I never really realized how much fear one could put into the hearts of their parents until that night. I swore never to do anything so foolish again. Not to them of course.

..... and I never did.

Let's see, I think the first time I stayed away from home, having lost my virginity, my mom and me had a big fight. But I think it was the several times I tried to commit suicide in my late teens that was the worst for her. Sorry mom.... I was an angel as a child.......then, not so much ;)

One night I was hanging out with a friend, lost track of time, and fell asleep on her couch. I woke up at about 4 am with half a dozen voicemails from my mother. She was pretty upset.

I wish I had something crazier to tell...
