Why is it that I see people capitalizing MODS or MOD? In a place like a forum, "mod" is short for "moderator". I can see if this was a store or something similar, where "MOD" could stand for "Manager on Duty".

Just my random thought for the day... well, not the day, since I have random thoughts all the time. So perhaps it's my random thought for the last 15 minutes or so. :24:

To me, MOD means Ministry Of Defence. I guess because I watch the news a lot and it gets mentioned and stuff.

I always write MODs cuz they are the authority figures. MOD stands out better. Like beware MODs are on the board! :ninja

I capitalize the word MOD or MOD's because I don't like the look of mod or mod's in lowercase letters.
