As a Pirates fan...scratch...as a person who resides in the same city where the Pirates "play" and who happens to bleed black and gold so she watches them out of devotion to her city...er...I don't have much to cheer about in the way of baseball.

I'm a Jays fan, so I feel your pain.

but i actually remember that homer from Joe Carter off of the "Wild Thing" Mitch Williams to win the series.

Yeah, The Jays were great those years, but I wasn't old enough to go to Toronto and booze it up after LOL

I remember hearing about the threats and insults Williams received after that. That was harsh: the guy who hit the homer off him was one of the best players in the league -give the guy a break. LOL He seems to have a good sense of humour about it though.
