Turkey dinner went great..

Turkey, carrots, mashed taters, stuffing, brussel sprouts, asparagus and gravy! ... oh and pumpkin pie and whipped cream for dessert...

The only issue I have with the meal.. there was enough for 10... so left overs for the next week.. Oh joy LOL.



And I wake up with a sore throat and stuff nose... And since it's a holiday I have to wait till tomorrow to go to the Dr. if it gets worse... ..

I was supposed to be cooking for 7... my bestie had to cancel and so there was only three having dinner yesterday... so.. now I have a fridge full of leftovers..

So yesterday I took Liam to my besties house so I could run to the Dr's without trying to watch him... He was all excited cuz he gets to play with her two girls... :)...

I drop him off.. he runs into the house without looking back at me.. I leave go to the Dr's office..

I must have spotted 20 RCMP and City police cars in the 15min drive from besties to Dr's office.. Holiday weekend spot checks LOL..

Walk in register... barely sit down.. Got called right in... .right out with a script to go get cough syrup.. then off to the Shoppers to get it filled... Waiting for the script to be filled took longer than the Dr's visit.. LOL...

Go back home chill out.. have a shower etc... ..

I head out to pick him up.. Minding my lead foot so I don't get stopped with all the cops milling around..

I walk in besties house say hello to everyone and look for Liam... He was busy playing and looks up at me and goes right back to playing again...

I was visited for a bit and then said Liam we have to go get Daddy now at work.. Liam looks at me.. goes no mommy me stay with Auntie Connie... you go get Daddy bye bye... (just before 7pm) Took the next 20 min to get him in the car and then 3 min after that he was asleep... LOL..

Carried him in the house after picking up Jim and he slept till just shy of 7am..


Yeah.. I am bored.. LOL..

I have to go out and do something today.. I am tired of this house.. and the stuff going on in it..

Oh happier notes... 1400 for two tickets home.. hrm.. I hope Stanley can make it work... 3 weeks at home... *sigh*... ...

Jim's not happy with me thinking about going home again without him.. but I think he gets it.. .. ...

Watching a trainwreck in progress is truly a sad thing......
