Humble:
-Gave $35,000,000 in one day to a local charity
-Has donated/raised hundreds of millions of dollars--the entire amount will never be known, because he refused publish/release the official numbers
-Supports 39 charities
-Visits orphanages and shelters all over the world.
-Wrote songs with meaning like "Heal the World", "Man in the Mirror", "Cry", "The Lost Children", "We've Had Enough", "We Are the World", "Earth Song" and many more.
-Brought forth the "Heal the World Foundation"
-Opened up his home for kids suffering with life-threatening diseases.
-Helped a young baby boy live who had a dangerous liver disease in which he could have died in 2 days, but Michael Jackson found a donor in time, and the boy lived.

Pedophile?
-Was found not guilty for all 10 counts
-The accuser's mom was known for making her kids shoplift at J.CPenney, and she still refuses to pay for the money damages.
-Gavin Arvizo later admitted under oath that Michael Jackson did not do anything to him
-There was no evidence for Michael molesting anyone, and they raided his whole house
-parents easily took money over getting 'justice' for their children

I think that if anything MJ deserves benefit of the doubt. We may never know if he was a pedophile, but what we will know, is that he gave a lot, and did a lot of good.

Yay and one person agrees with me, thank you Dana! lol :willy_nilly:

I also dont see how giving money to charity makes you humble, especially if you are loaded and shout about it from the rooftops.

I believe that he was acquitted for the right reasons tbh

his motives to pay the family are his own, more than likely because he felt the boy was his friend.
he was peter pan, stuck in a childlike mentality.

Because he was rich and didn't want to deal with going to court? (press, mainly)

More importantly why were the parents willing to take money over 'getting justice' for their children?

if he didnt want to go to court in 1993, then why go to court in 2005? again just playing devils advocate..

as for the parents taking the money or what really did or didnt happen to their child is just plain wrong to me. as a parent no amount of money would keep my mouth shut if someone abused my child.

Parents got their money and ran. Took advantage of a vulnerable person in a difficult situation.
Your right, if the parents really believed he was a child molester jail time would have been more suiting than a cash settlement.
the Eulogies got me thinking a lot about his character, and he was a mysterious person who kept to himself. and that sprung up a lot of allegations, something, he probably remained private to begin with, he tried to avoid.

Even hundreds of millions of dollars? :willy_nilly:

He didn't shout about it from the roof tops, sometimes the charities did, and that's the only reason why we know...

I didn't say he did.

I think you are confusing the word humility with the word generosity. As for the child abuse stuff, I've already explained why I believe he was a paedophile and there's no point going through that again, I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree, though nice selective reporting to back up your point about that. :)

I can do this too! Guess who I'm talking about?

Pros:
Good student in high school
Frequently went to church
VP of the Methodist Youth Fellowship
Volunteered at a Suicide Crisis Center
Graduated from the University of Washington
Managed the Seattle office of Nelson Rockefeller's presidential campaign

Cons:
Confessed to murdering approximately 30 people, though the true total will never be known.

It's Ted Bundy. Sounds like a nice guy though. :dunno

Ted was brilliant.... I'm glad he's dead. I think they took samples of his brain to study. How someone so brilliant could be so sadistic..... They do say there is a fine line between genius & madness. He's a good example.

p.s. I just heard LA is wondering how to pay for the Memorial???? Shouldn't it all come out of MJ's estate?

My Grandmother's memorial did... Granted it didn't cost millions, but it came out of her estate none the less.....

Put him in a wax museum.
