i left MF when i got a pm about this site- a pm (private message- not for all forum viewers to see- so it isnt an ad) ive occasionally returned to MF to see whats up over there. i did not like what i saw. i did not recognize any of the members, so i logged off. i stopped posting at MF a couple of months ago. ive visited MF a couple times and have seen no ads whatsoever except in veronica's signature. what about that RD guy over at MF who advertised his site-
www.rdmotorsport.com ? i didnt care that he advertised, but in all fairness, his ad was in his sig for the longest time with no mod or admin intervention at all.
heres what im leading to... joe's site (MM.com) is not yet public and there are no ads of it anywhere, nor were there any at MF. it seems to me that admin (ralph) is over at MF dropping the totalaristic hand to snuff out the competition. and i agree 100% that MF should try to improve their site to keep members, not hide competition to keep them.
also, it seems quite unfair that MF is now using joe's ideas, since he is gone and all. maybe that is a sign of ralph admitting defeat to joe, seeing as joe uses his own ideas (along with members here) to build a site for mustang owners to acquire tech info. maybe ralph is afraid joe's site will (in due time) overcome the status of MF, which i have no doubts it will. all that needs to happen is bullshitting stays here and tech-only info goes to MM.com.
i personally do not care who the bad guy(s) was(were) because i am not involved and wish not to be. but let me say this, regardless of people talking about another site or not- who gives a shit? seriously, people talk, that is a form of advertising (word of mouth) if you want to get technical here, but you cant control people's minds... you can try to opress them with the totalaristic hand of ralph, but it shows a sign of cowardice and defeat.
im all for free speech and unediting of content. lets hope that no personal attacks of character arise on the forums so content has no need to be edited. and remember- people choose to be here, there, or wherever. so let them be.
