Moose?

Ummm.... I thought it was about the tailgating ban being lifted. Bwahahahahahahahaha..... I detest tailgaters. I'd like to just jam on the brakes and let 'em have it that way. But.... my car is too important to do something like that. So.... I just slow down a little bit at a time or ride my brake or turn on my turn signals randomly....

Ummm..... Did they mean that type of tailgating.... or the ones at sporting events? *scratches head* *shrugs*

There are quite a few moose & car tangles up-country every year. The headline shows it was around 100 Mile House so it's very likely it happened. Those collisions usually end in the death of the human(s) in the car.

Oh I know there are real accidents from Moose.. My cousin hit one going to Fort McMurray and it totally destroyed his car.. He had no injuries and was fine but the car he had was totalled.. That's when his company finally agreed to fly him in and out of there.

I also have a friend at 70 Mile House.. They run all over his land..

The point I was making is that Moose are as common in Canada as cows.. There are Moose and and Deer crossing signs all over and just driving up to Whistler one can see at least two of them.

I missed your point but got it now.

As a rule the southern prairies don't have any but cross into Ontario from Manitoba and you'll see 'em every mile or two especially in the fall or winter. We had these... http://www.mikmak.net/moose-bumpers.asp ... on the front of our trucks just because of those pesky Ontario Moose.

we have several people die every year in the same spot due to moose crossing the highway here. They just recently put up some motion sensory stuff that sets lights flashing, however, its also a snowmobile and off road place so not only moose set the lights flashing but so do humans, so its not really working...
