Ummm he was divorced when he met Cindy;)

This article states otherwise. I guess it could be wrong.

In 1979 – while still married to Carol – he met Cindy at a cocktail party in Hawaii. Over the next six months he pursued her, flying around the country to see her. Then he began to push to end his marriage.

And then there is this Veterans Dispatch story.

While still married to Carol, McCain began an adulterous relationship with Cindy. He married Cindy in May 1980 -- just a month after dumping Carol and securing a divorce. The newlyweds honeymooned in Hawaii.

People are people and I don't hold the Republican Party to a higher standard unless of course you (The Party) have gone completely overboard with "family values". Then it's worth mentioning.

People have strange reasons for the things they do. His ability to have a good marriage, has little to do with his ability to lead a country.

Remember Clinton:eek Jesus he was the patriarch saint of the Democratic party, and he got his pee pee suck in the oval office:D

So no, frankly I don't give a rats ass who he was sleeping with and when, bottom line he went on to having 7 kids and seemingly doing a good job with his second marriage...

Actually unless you're a preachy political party, I don't care either. ;)

I'M not a political party, but judge the candidate...."The Party" on both sides is fucked up like hogans goat.

McCain doesn't have a history of being "preachy". I'm not voting for a political party, I'm voting for a person(s).

I loathe a vast majority of so called "conservatives", so I don't associate myself with that party. Reform on the other hand, I'm all about, progressive I'm all about.

More taxation, re-distribution of wealth, socialized medicine....No thanks

And since we are on the topic of morality/religious teachings of our candidates, why don't you go to the website of the church Barack attended for 20 years, was married in, and baptised his children in, they have the teachings posted.....Interesting that conservatives can get bashed for being pro-life, but Barak doesn't get called on the carpet for belonging to a vehement anti-American, and racially charged theology.

And if you don't believe me, go read some of the philosophy, particularly the areas of separating themselves from the "white enemy", and killing God himself if he doesn't back them:unsure:

I mean frankly, religion shouldn't have anything to do with politics, but clear anti american, and anti race philosophy says a lot about a persons reasoning process.

So where were we?

I agree but after being hit over the head for the last 30 years with the religion sledge by the Party that injected religion into politics they deserve the push back they get. I'm not familiar with Obama's church or it's teachings but has he every said or written anything that is considered anti-American or racist? He does not come across nor act that way. People forget he is half white.

I think he's forgotten.

Black Liberation Theology is commonly known, and is deeply rooted in reverse racism. Simply go looking for it, there's information all over the internet and they all say the same thing. Jeremiah Wright uses that for the basis of all his teachings.

Just sayin', Obama doesn't use religion in any of his speeches, but he has repeatedly talked about how important his faith is. I just think when someone says that you might want to look into what that faith teaches.

Your seriously advocating that Obama is some kind of Trojan Horse?

Not at all, but I could never get behind anyone who claimed there was racial intolerance yet studied under a theology that uses racial intolerance as its foundation.

Frankly what scares me about Obama is that I cannot put my finger on what his game is.....But there is one.

And it's well documented that he basically has only pushed through legislation (and even this was a long time ago) that only helped the black community, quite frankly I just am not of the belief that his foundation isn't rife with racial undertones.

If that answers your question any..I keep getting stuck on that

People tune into that. He's got way to many white folk on his band wagon to be worried as race does not seem to be an issue with him IMO. (I said "him" as his attitude.)

I only tuned into after years of listening to the drumbeat about the right pandering to the Christian Coalition.

When the table is turned...nobody wants to sit though:unsure:

See the hipocrisy

Personally I could never get behind someone who supports torture and sings bomb, bomb, bomb Iran to the rythm of a Beach boys song, that's just my opinion though.;)
