As far as I'm concerned someone with a bachelors degree in behavioral science that has such a great interest in subjects like this would seek out forums dedicated to such topics. ;)

What does Tuffy mean? I graduated in Fall of 2010 and am now in grad school. But who cares, I am not one to think that someone is better for having a degree. I was just saying that I have always had a keen interesting in mental health and used that as an example to demonstrate my interest.

I am in Forensics/Behavioral Science/mental health line of field too. Given that i do assessments for such patients and I can see what you're saying! There's something odd with this kid but of course further tests are needed to validate that. But you have the 'clinical eye' as they say :nod:

It's not something to laugh about of course but he sure shows signs of some form of a mental retardation or maybe learning disability of some form. It can be some form of a social awkwardness too associated with it. Maybe through these videos he's able to conquer those and kudos to him of course :thumbup

Even if it is a parody, there is something curious about his behavior, as put so well by PurpleDove. That's all I was really wondering about. I admit the title of this thread might come off a little strong, but I wanted to label the thread with examples of extremes on both ends (I thought it would help rouse interest in joining the discussion :) ) Again, I am sorry if I have offended anyone, but I truly enjoy the discussion that has taken place.

Maybe not a parody but satire. There are youtube channels dedicated to reviews something people do in hopes to get a strong following. The youtube community is very peculiar in a sense that most of them try to make an income off youtube, nothing is for creativity anymore. I think this is just a satire of a real toy review

Huh, I had no idea users could make money from uploading to youtube. How does that even work, they pay you for how many people watch the video? If that is true, then yes, I could see a lot of people trying to exploit the opportunity.

I really dont think that this kid is trying to be funny at all. I am very familiar with satirical comedy. I don't think this is what that is.

There definitely has been some interesting discussion on this thread. I was looking up Aspergers Syndrome on Wikipedia and the symptoms that it described seemed a ton like the kid in the video. I'm not an expert so I don't know but he definitely is a little off.

For all of those of you who say and think that this is satire or that he doesn't seem off at all have you guys looked at his actual channel?
