Manchester United 0-1 Manchester City

Perhaps City's biggest ever Derby win, perhaps our worst ever performance in one. Perhaps the victory which ends the long trophy drout for City. Lot of perhaps. They deserved to win though, the first half hour was our game, and we really should have been in front but Berbatov wasted two glorious chances. Then they came back into it and could have been in front before half time but the breakthrough came when Carrick gave it to Toure Yaya who ran on and scored. In the end there wasn't enough determination from us to win, and as hard as it is to accept, they were better than us.

Man Of The Match : Haven't got a clue.

A frustrating night on Tyneside where our march to the Title was somewhat halted, though we won't know the full consequences for 24 hours. A first half where Newcastle started better before we had a great chance which Rooney didn't take. The second half was mainly dominated by us with the best chance coming when Giggs sliced wide from close range when scoring looked easier. Javier Hernandez was booked for.....well I don't think it was actually diving because the referee blew when he put his hand on the ball. Anyway the penalty wasn't given. Overall not a brilliant result given Arsenal and Chelsea could close the gap tomorrow.

Man Of The Match : Wayne Rooney.

Manchester United 1-0 Everton

Nearly there, nearly. One win closer to the Title, and with the knowledge that should the next two end in victory, the Title will be ours. But for now it's a 9 point lead with 4 to play. The first half was mainly us with perhaps the wrong decison making and a little but of luck attached as far as Everton were concerned. As the second half grew in time the chances were not taken but the introductions of Owen and Giggs changed the game with more of a focus towards scoring. And eventually the breakthrough came in the 84th minute when Valencia's deflected cross landed onto the head of Javier Hernandez who scored his 19th of the season and our 100th. In the end we saw the game out and deservedly won.

How to win away in Europe lesson 101. The first half was completely dominated by us with Neuer is great form and some fantastic chances created. The second half was much the same story but the breakthrough eventually came when Ryan Giggs finished well under Neuer. The second goal arrived shortly afterwards when Rooney made no mistake. On the night it's a fantastic result which may well have been 5 or 6 goals had it not been for Neuer's inspired form. Nearly in the final now.

Arsenal 1-0 Manchester United

A potentially damaging defeat in terms of the Title race again. Not so much with Arsenal because they are still out of it regardless of the win here, but with the fact that should victory happen to Chelsea in the meeting next Sunday they will go top. It was a poor performance though. The only goal came when Aaron Ramsey scored. They should have had a penalty in the first half with a Vidic handball whereas equally we should have had one with Owen going down under a tackle from Clichy.

Man Of The Match : Ryan Giggs.

Manchester United 4-1 Schalke

A very comfortable second leg victory to book the game against Barcelona in 3 and a half weeks. The game started with us mainly pressing and the breakthrough was never far off and it came when Darron Gibson threaded a wonderful ball through to Valencia, who finished with class. Gibson himself got on the scoresheed shortly after when his stinging drive was spilt into the net by potential Old Trafford number 1 Manuel Neuer. After a mixup in our defence Jurardo smashed a ball past Van Der Sar to give the German team consolation. The second half was a glimmer of a contest until Anderson finished at the second attempt and the same player made it 4-1 shortly after when Berbatov squared the ball. In the end a game which was pretty much over after the first leg always had that feel.

Manchester United 2-1 Chelsea

Although the Premier League will not officially recognise us as Champions, as far as I'm concerned, number 19 is wrapped up. Inside 36 seconds Javier Hernandez put us ahead after a slip from David Luiz (which actually put it in a better position for him). More chances presented themselves and Nemanja Vidic made it 2 after a great header. They made it 2-1 with Lampard but this day belongs to us.

Man Of The Match : Every player in red on that pitch.

Blackburm Rovers 1-1 Manchester United

The Premier League Title wrapped up with the required point at Blackburn. The half started well with Nani coming close, but after indecision from PIG, Blackburn went on to score from Brett Emerton, and all of a sudden the parade was cancelled. But in the second half the pressure was building and eventually the pressure told when Hernandez was tripped by Robinson and Rooney dispatched the penalty. In the end both sides were happy to settle for a draw.

And then disgusting behaviour from the Blackburn ones when he gave it. Two way street.

The ref had a shocker in all honesty. Fat cunt, I hope he dies in a car crash.

Manchester United 4-2 Blackpool

The final nail in the coffin for Blackpool. But for a short while they were winning at Old Trafford and staying up, then fell apart. Ji Sung Park extinguished Blackpool's early good start with a dink over Matt Gilks. However Blackpool never give up and were level before the break when Charlie Adam lashed in a free kick. They went in front in the second half when Gary Taylor Fletcher got a flick fom a cross and Blackpool at that time were staying up. However with the frailties in defence you never thought it was too far from us scoring again and Anderson sliced in a cross into the top corner. Ian Evett then put the ball into his own net and with other results not gonig their way it seemed the dream was over for Blackpool. Michael Owen put them out of their misery with a neat finish.

In the end a good way to end the season, it's sad Blackpool weren't able to celebrate staying up too, but the high risk play eventually cost them.

Barcelona 3-1 Manchester United

And for tonight, the greatest team in the world triumph. Goals came from Pedro, Messi and Villa for Barcelona. Messi with the pick for the goals with a early strike which caught Van Der Sar off guard completely. It's a sad way for him to bow out, but bow out he does. As I said, we lost to to the greatest team in the world. maybe of all time.
