i think its weird for men to cry... but that doesnt mean i'm against it... i'll admit that i cried along with 30-odd other people at my half-bro's funeral in chicago... i was a new airman (E-3) just out of boot camp and everyone else was first class petty officers and chief petty officers... my bro was a first class (E-6) and my dad was a chief (E-7) and i was a second class (E-5)

i think it's perfectly okay for a guy to cry. example: yesterday my boyfriend and i were watching tv and he started crying over this show (it was REALLY sad). not like, sobbing or blubbering all over the place but just crying a few tears. and i thought "wow, he actually has a heart". now if he were sitting there crying for hours then i'd be like "grow a pair"!!! lol. :) just my two cents.

I think what freaks a lot of guys out is that crying is looked at as not being in control of oneself. And a lot of guys are taught that crying is a sign of weakness. But answer this, men - how many times have you cried and at the same time were incapable of making a decision? How many times were you crying and felt that if a situation arose that needed you to act decisively and with strength, you couldn't get the job done? Not many, if any, I'd bet - just from personal experience.

Crying is just not something most guys are use to doing. If they were, then it wouldn't be a big deal - which it really isn't. If guys weren't meant to cry, they we wouldn't have the capability to do it.

:(*sniff* *sniff*:( ( damn - I hate it when that happens)

i get turned off when men cry, but thats only if they are real cry baby types... now if they cry during death or because i am leaving them...lol...then its ok for me to see them cry. i like my men to be men. stiff upper lip and all. but if i kick them in the nuts and they cry then i'll be all like 'ew, you cried...what the fuck is wrong with you. you're supposed to be a man.'

lol....k got it...no crying.

thats funny. they cant cry because they're men or arent suposed to because they're men. if thats the case you're a woman. go in the kitchen and make me breakfast and after that do my laundry. lmao

steriotype's suck huh. man or woman, we are all equal, men show emotion and shouldnt be afraid to because people will think they will be less of a man. :)

not trying to be mean just showing you its ok anytime if a man cries and not worry about a steriotype
