One of them faith healin' preachers was having services in his tent on a Sunday. He asked the congregation if any of them needed prayin' over for ailments and such, and that they should come forward. As each approached the alter, he'd lay his hands on 'em and pray up a storm. Well, Leroy was a-waitin' his turn and when it came, the preacher asked him, "Sir, what can I pray for in your case?"

Leroy said; "Preacher, I'm needin' some help with ma hearin'"

So, the preacher put his hands on Leroy's ears and prayed like never before. The congregants were swayin' and "Amenin" and it seemed that The Good Lord Hisself was there in the midst of them all. When he was done, the preacher took his hands offa Leroy and said; "How's your hearin' now, Son?"

Leroy looks the preacher in the eye and said; "Don't know. It ain't til next week!"
