w0000!!!
Finally. Me, Wes and Brian (BDN) got around to doing my brakes today.
The outer pads had about a 1/4 inch of pad on them. The inner pads...
well...
Let's just say lately when I hit the brakes I was grinding metal into metal. Not pad into metal. But METAL into metal.
When BDN gets online and sends me the pics I'll show you exactly what they looked like. My rotors were FUBAR'd beyond belief. The warning pins... those were gone, completely snapped off.
But now my brakes are done and there's just a slight squeel, which is better than metal on metal sounds in the middle of traffic.
Honda puts two screws to keep the rotors onto the hubs. One side came off perfectly, one side we had to drill out. All in all it took about an hour and a half to do I believe. I'm happy, and now I gotta go get wes a case of Coronas for all his hard work.
Brian, when you read this. Thank Wes again for me.
