I guess a payment for a cellphone bill didnt go through. I didn't calculate how long itd take to process. i *edit* paid for it online (what i meant by sent) last week and i checked my account last week a few days afterward and it wasnt showing up. i checked today and it still wasnt on there... turns out it didnt go through.... i just bought a 70 dollar print a week ago thinking i had enough money for the bill and now im short. I have to borrow from my parents. I'm just glad, its not due til Monday.

I don't think I've written a check in 5 years. Everything is on-line and I mean everything. And the one bill I have (water bill) that doesn't accept on-line payments, I just submit it through my bank website and they mail a check out to them for free. :dunno

# 1 - If you paid it on line it shouldn't take more than a day or two to clear. The amount should be subtracted from your balance right then and there anyway leaving you a new balance.

# 2 - If you have x # of $ in your account and process x # out for a bill that would leave you x # of $ so how can you be short. It's simple arithmetic.

well it didnt process and i paid for it on US Cellular's site.

I was using my ATM receipts for my balance and there was a $300 overdraft allowance. The receipts showed that money, so I kept withdrawing and withdrawing and getting charged for each one.

In my defense, I was only 18 and it took one time to learn.

Um.... Balance book.... anyone ever hear of it?

Input deposit amount, withdraw funds and subtract from balance. Repeat only until broke and not overdrawn. :D
