Where is the next meet? Putting extreme miles on ym car is out of the question, and its going to look gay to bring my car in on a trailer and run stock times. wned I might go to Shady Side if you're ever interested, that goes for anyone.

Will a video of me beating the Mach 1 again be good enough? If he shows this weekend I'll make sure you get your proof and no "hot air".

Racing steed would be a waste of my gas money and his as well. We know he will win because he has more power than I do as of right now. If he was still stock or atleast an exhaust, I'd say lets go, but he doesn't. I'm not traveling out of my way and putting miles on my car to race someone who is def going to beat me because he outpowers me. I'm sure Steed doesn't want to waste his time beating a car he already knows he will beat.

Well that may be true BUT ///// the race isnt the cars but the person and 2.. 5 speeds....2 ... good to average drivers ......... and on one missing gears and getting off the lines good /////// it would be a serious TOSS up as to who would win ....... and you know themods makea difference but not ///// I had a best freind with a 92 5.0 LX 5 speed with very few to no mods and could stomp alot that had MODS ....... BUT he was also one of the best speed shifters there was at the time and people came from around to run him even though his Car was basicly STOCK

well yea :lol :lol but what im trying to say is concentrate dont get hyper are be nerves and dont let the one beside you bother you ........... and HIT your marks AND EVEN A 5.0 WITH NO MODS CAN win .....Randy proved that many times and i saw it with my on eyes ...... MY 91 had mods and Randies didnt but the LX is 400 pounds lighter .......... and he was just a good driver

Steed, I've got to learn how to run at the track first. I've never been. I can launch on the street but I've never done the track before wned

I have to learn to run at the track also. I'll do that this spring. I'm installing the Procharger now and the tune will follow by a few days. Hope to be putting down about 480 to the wheels. :banana

Then I'm going to work the suspention. Upper/lower control arms, tokico illuminas, wheels/tires and strengthening the chassis. :cool

its not to hard, i launch the f out of my car all the time lol. on the street... i mean at the track. after driving you car you know the pessure your gas pedal needs, and its easy to keep still.

You won't get made fun of. It's the same as racing on the street, except there are times involved. Less margin of error.
