Lost a filling late yesterday afternoon

Couldn't get in touch with the dentist's office... so I went to the clinic and got an rx for vicoprofen (hydrocodone + ibuprofen). That barely got me through last night... barely got any sleep all night long. Called the dentist this morning, they could get me in for a 740am appointment tomorrow morning, with no guarantee that anything could be done then, just to take a look since I haven't seen him in a really long time.

This is gonna be a fun next few days. Looks like I'm gonna end up with a root canal. :thumbdown

Dentist's office told me not to use one of those since I'm experiencing throbbing pain. What difference that makes, I'm not entirely certain... but they're the experts and I'd just as soon not risk making it worse. The vicoprofen is helping take the edge off, but it still hurts like hell.
 
Called the dentist today to schedule the root canal... the only endodontist here in town has their office closed today, so they'll call and schedule it for me tomorrow. Hope it's sometime relatively soon, cause this damn thing is killing me.
