My stamina is improving, I don't get as tired anymore, or as burned out, or as sore... although I do run into back pain but I am doing stretches to help with that and that'll take some time before I see results but it is improving as well, before it would've killed me all night.

be sure to cool down properly though:nod:

I am not that crazy, I am just thinking of adding only an extra hour every work day to do cardio but I want to see other things I can do... I seriously need help on what exercises I can do. :eek

Then one of my days off I do something for another hour or two, then one day to just relax and have a bit of fun time :D

Lifting weights is really good for weight loss. Wieghts build muscle and muscle burns fat. Good exercises are squats, bench press and dead lifts. You have to be really careful with squats and deads though. I'd say buy a couple sets of dumbbells- some really light ones, no more than 5 pounds to walk with, and then a heavier set- around 8 or 10 pounds to do some lifting with. If you look on any women's magazine sites, they'll have routines that can get you started.

my wife and i use a swedish exercise ball/ yoga ball (or w/e you call it). i use the floor as i have for years, but it's not enough anymore. we have a gym down the road called 24 hour fitness, and you just swipe a card at the door and it lets you in anytime of day, which would be really good for me since i work midnights. my wife and i also walk the neighborhood (i know some dont have that choice cuz some have a nasty gang or a gay forest nearby...)

Walking can be boring but like any exercise it comes down to a committment. If you can get a routine and stick to it for 6 weeks there is a good chance you will get addicted to it. When I did a lot of running I had a log book. I made it feel more important to be able to log in the miles ran. If you can do some light weights that also helps. Muscle burns calories better than fat. At first you might get a lag of weight loss but eventually things sort themselves out.

Do not have anything fattening in the fridge and be prepared for your fridge attacks with carrots and celeries, never eat restaurant food, never eat after 7pm, drink lots of water and work out daily even if it's just for 30 minutes...

Impossible for me to do since my schedule differs from the daily 9-5 routine...

I read that doing 1000 sit ups a day will do nothing to get rid of a flabby belly!!
You have to strenghten your core muscles and stuff like martial arts, yoga and pilates along with sit ups will work.
I'm trying at the moment to get rid of my jelly belly with step aerobics and sit ups, watch this space, I will have a toned stomach by the summer :thumbup

The idea behind it is that you don't burn as many calories when you sleep so you don't want to be ingesting bunch right before bed. So you could always modify it to fit your needs.
