I'm just curious as to whether or not the two of you have discussed what I suggested...or if you've come up with your own ideas since yesterday?

It's nothing to just look up the local classifieds in his area while you're online, and apply to the positions assuring your potential employer that you are more than willing to relocate. Sometimes, if you find a good enough company, they even pay for you to move to their area. Not to mention, it's considered a tax break when you move like that. *smiles*

And ya know what else? I had a friend of mine who had her mate's image put onto the material she was using to make a pillow out of, and she slept with it nightly. Of course, it didn't make up for the distance and the empty dent on his side, but it did make it a little easier knowing she could look at his image as she was drifting off to dreamland.

I have been looking for a higher paid job there and that is an option we are thinking about. But right now where I am working if I stay they pay 80% of my school. And I am currently working on my BA in Business.

I like the pillow idea :D
My husband took one of our sons blanket as a reminder of home which I thought was really sweet considering he is the hard ass type.

well, knowing that there is a weakness is one third the battle. finding the weakness is the second third. and exploiting that weakness ... well, you wont get past the second third.

I don't think finding a weakness is what you should be doing. You should look to his strength which is loving you.

I think what might be the underlying issue here is that you are frightened you might slip up. You seem to be wanting to find every little thing and nit pick it to death so that you're obsessing over minute details in your relationship. Perhaps you should talk about your fears pertaining to yourself, rather than him...

How old are you again? I only ask because I want to compare notes on another who is in a similar situation as you, but acts in a different manner...

I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years and we have been in a long distance relationship for 1 year. So far we've had our ups and downs, but it is true that if you really truly are mean't to be with each other it will work out, me and my boyfriend are now engaged. It can work, just don't forget about her and show her that you think about her all the time when you are away from her by calling her, writing her, and sweet stuff.

Me and my GF live 3 hrs apart and I see her about once every 2 months during the summer. (At the most) It's real hard, I hate being away from her. She calls almost every night and we just talk a bit about our days. That's really how we do it. Since he will only be got for a determined period of time, and he will be back for breaks and such I say if the relationship is true enough that alone will hold you together.
