The entire shebang practiced about noon today and this guy took off about 3'ish. I imagine because he was all by himself that he was doing a press flight or a maintenance flight.

They aren't very good shots but I posted 'em because at least one shows how mucg smoke from all the forest fires is still in the area.

They were likely giving someone, like a celebrity or VIP of some sort a ride. That is a two seater aircraft to which the thunderbirds only have one of for that purpose. And if that's the case, the odds are 9/10 that the guy in the back seat is holding a small bag full of vomit

Oh, and here is one of my birds I used to work on at the flightline in Germany I was stationed......this pic brings back a ton of memories, as much as those stupid things break, I definitely have an attachment for these little one engine lawn darts

Well Ian it's a lot better camera than what I have because I could never get a shot of a plane flying with mine. So he has a much better camera than I do and is able to take pictures that I cant. ;)

you should visit a site dedicated to camera phones....its not the camera its the person:nod:

I got a whack of 'em today Sammy. I'll post a few of the better ones in their own thread when I finish processing 'em. I love jets and F-16's rank right up there.
