lol I just looked at my schools dress-code...

If you take away the clothes you might as well take away the gadgets, cell phones, designer back bags, iPods, bikes, by now I'm sure there is some stupid designer binder, clothes aren't the only thing rich kids have... and you can't take it all away, to make it fair.

Looked on the net and here are some good reasons for uniforms
1. It avoids having your teenager spend 1 hour trying on 5 different outfits in the morning.
2. It avoids competition among peers as to who can buy the most expensive, hottest designer jeans.
3. It eliminates any embarrassing fashion foe paws for kids who truly have no taste on how to dress.
4. It prevents the horrific “show of crack” when boys wear their pants below their waste with ugly underwear hanging out.
5. It provides a safety net so kids are not sucked into escalators when their 4-inch too long jeans as they get caught in the tracks.

Dont you think this is pretty fair?

Looked on the net and here are some good reasons for uniforms
1. It avoids having your teenager spend 1 hour trying on 5 different outfits in the morning.
We can pick out our clothes the night before
2. It avoids competition among peers as to who can buy the most expensive, hottest designer jeans.
Out our school it's better if you can buy these, but kids don't notice when you can not.
3. It eliminates any embarrassing fashion foe paws for kids who truly have no taste on how to dress.
Kids will have to learn how to dress sometime, What Not to Wear can't do it for everyone, and when I was trying out for my job I remember somebody saying that it's important for us to dress for success...
4. It prevents the horrific “show of crack” when boys wear their pants below their waste with ugly underwear hanging out.
Kids can stil order the wrong size and let there butt hang out
5. It provides a safety net so kids are not sucked into escalators when their 4-inch too long jeans as they get caught in the tracks.
once again they can still get the wrong size and still have to large of clothes that hang, and we don't have escalators in our school, and most kids would change after school.

See, I can do that too :p
