Actually my little turd of a daughter played an April fools joke on me just like this!
She's quite the little prankster so I should have seen it coming. But I wasn't even thinking about April fool's day. She led into it and all, she had been moping around and acting quite depressed for a couple days before hand. I kept asking her what the matter was and she wouldn't say. SO early that morning at breakfast I said to her again "Just what is troubling you so much?!~ This isn't like you to be so glum' and she told me she was pregnant. I was absolutely gutted!! But before I could get past the initial stunned stuttering shock phase that little bugger said "APRIL FOOLS!" Then burst into fits of giggles!
I nearly peed myself. She really got me good on that one!

I am, but not for long. the baby went back to sleep at last! Now I can go get a few winks in before he wakes up again!
