Living situation ?

I live by myself in a duplex that I rent, lonely as hell, with three cats that generally drive me insane. :24:

I used to rent a place with a mate before I went travelling, since I came home about 2 years ago I've failed to move out since... but I started my new job a few months back and it pays really well, and I have a house lined up to move into in January so only 3 months left at home then I'm out on my own!

I have a mortgage on a house far away from work but I rent less than 10 mins away from work.

I live with my parents in a shitty plastic modular home.

A lego home! That would be cool - sorry to hear it's a bit crappy.

I rent a one bedroom apartment and live all by myself. I love it... except for the ogre that lives upstairs. Our floors are hardwood and they squeak like crazy... so when he's walking around I worry he's going to fall through.

I currently rent. Looking into buying a home soon. Lost a home due to this economy, housing scam and failed housing stimuli by the gov't.

I love my MIL to death.. but the telling me what to do is driving me nutty.. she didnt' do a good job with her kids why should I listen to her about mine... LOL

Thanks. It was tough but seeing that nowadays more and more people are on the streets e.g I see around some husband(s) and wife(ves)- older folks who are homeless where all they have are some clothes, flashlight etc in an old shopping cart. And having heard their story and due to economy are unable to find a home etc- I know I am in a better place where am at.

As the quote states: I complained as i have no shoes, till i met a man who had no feet.

You love her but not as a roommate that is totally understanding IMO. Two different things.

Just moved into an apartment a couple weeks ago after being in a house for 5 years. It's quite the adjustment, but I'm loving not having all the additional work!

Wow I just learned a new term..."MIL" That can't be easy...as having 2 women in the house (and of the house) often "clash!" so keep doing what youre doing - and try not to be too hard on hubby (haha). Poor guy! Btw, I own, in VA, live w/ family + 2 pooches & a new puppy!
