I have the feeling not many TN'ians like liquor. :( I have to drive about 40 minutes for a liquor store. They only have beer around here. And they dont serve it on Sunday!!!! WTF!!!!!!!! I ordered a drink one time at Ruby Tuesdays on a Sunday...and she looked at me like I was insane, and said "We dont serve alcohol on Sundays". So thats another lesson I have learned!

Thats impossible. They have an NFL stadium there. North Carolina changed their state law about this when the Panthers moved here. Maybe you were in a dry county?

I don't know about TN, but in NC the liquor stores are run by the state so they are closed on all the holidays.

Maybe thats it I dunno. Well is a dry country considered no hard liquor, only beer? Still, the only place I can buy hard liquor is in Knoxville, which is about 30-40 min away. 20 If Im real thirsty! ;)
