before i even write this i want o say thank you to james leland and crystal for hte motivation/inspiration
not nessisarily poetry but here is a list of my likes as they come to me in my head
falling snow in the dark of night
rain pattering on a tin roof
a warm blanket and a nice novel
waking up from a dream that has a nice resolution
the feeling of completion after a good movie,book or a long tv series
finding lost treasures in pants i havnt worn in about half a year
knowing that something i did or said made somebody smile
knowing that soemthing i said or did made soembody feel better about themself
hearing you laugh
seeing you smile
getting lost in somebodies eyes
knowing i understood what you said even though it came out as incoherent noises
connecting with somebody on the same wavelength
finding out somehting new
eatign new foods that i cant pronounce
that sip of cocoa on a cold day that you feel the whole way down
did i mention your smile
making up new words
cheesey jokes that people only laugh at cause they are cheesy
catching people offgaurd with a funny comment
walking at night when there is no traffic no public
thinkign about htings new and old in new ways to come up with new ideas
knowing that something i said made a point that really made a person think
learning new philosophies, superstitions,religions
visiting new places
looking at old places and findign new things about them
play fighting
that euphoric feeling i get after someone i respect has genuinely said somehting nice to me
the way apples are crisp and juicy at the same time
knowing that my opinion is considered by somebody i respect
sunrises and sunsets
standign in the cool rain on a sweltering hot summer day
taking pictures of people as an excuse to stare at them
watching people and wanderign who they are and what their life story is
listenign to people tell stories
giving advice to people on any subject
actually thinking hard to come up with stuff for this list
talkign about myself to people i can trust with my emotions
