Never salt water fished, being inland. We have perch, bluegill, walleye, bullheads (Smaller cousins of catfish), northern pike, and a few other breeds.

I don't own a boat, so my open water fishing is limited to shore duty. Suits me fine. I ice fish some. Have a portable house, heater, ice auger, and the short rods.

I exclusively fish freshwater. I like to fish for largemouth bass, crappie & bream. Occasionally I will fish for catfish. I prefer bass fishing most of all. I will flyfish some but mostly use baitcasting outfits. What type fishing do you like best? Freshwater or saltwater?
I like fresh fish when well prepared you would lick your fingers but I don't like fishing I don't know why

When I was a kid, I used to go to my farm house during the winter and our farm worker used to take me to fish in the river. He used to hand fish, and I found it fascinating how he caught fish with his hand. I have never tried fishing.

Fishing is both calming and exciting. I enjoy the peacefulness of waiting by the water and the thrill of a catch. It teaches patience and connects you to nature. Whether it’s solo or with friends, fishing offers a refreshing mental break.
