legalize marijuana?

they should legalize it, but i wouldnt recommend using it. smoking pot doesnt make you as cool as you may think. it will become an expensive habit like smoking cigarettes is, and it is just as harmful as cigarettes.

but legalizing pot again (like before the mexican war) will just cause more delinquincy with already troubled teens. but for freedom's sake, it should be legalized.

The reason weed is not legal in America is because the best weed is not made in AMERICA!...and becuas ethey made way to much money off putting people in jail for posession charges, etc...

i'm sorry but most of you don't have a fucking clue about pot , #1 people don't need weed to become assholes , #2 yes weed is worse for you then cigarettes but then if you don't chain smoke whats the harm , #3 your right pot wont make you cool , even weed can't turn a geek into a sheek , i've smoked for over 30 years and feel i'm smarter now then i was at 20 , and kungfu stay in school , i've got a shit load of info on this and alot of years of experience that i'll post at another time but i will say this things are starting to change and it's about time. :rock

bullshit. the pot grown in afghanistan's hindu kush region is of the best in the world and it easily and cheaply makes its way to america. that is where the gov't tried to find a link between drugs and funding terrorism, which is a possibility but not guaranteed.

weed is not legal because it was a measure to keep mexicans out of the US- it didnt work though

maybe people need to be reminded how weed was criminalized. first of all, in the early 30's some hypocritical assholes (think people who like avril) decided that weed is evil. so they made a movie called Reefer Madness (real fuckin name) that is basically like an "uncut" version of some fucktard anti-pot commercial. and people believed it. until the 70's people were like OMFG this is good shit. and the assholes came back with their assholy ideas of assholiness :tard .

for some reason people only think of potheads as some hippies and rastafaris with their fuckin rasta hats. that's not true, any person can smoke week. or not smoke: bake it as a delicious brownie (ghiandrelli mix works best, and use margarine instead of butter...), make hemp tea (bhang, very marvelous) which is TOTALLY NON-CARGINOGENIC!!! beechez. grrr, if only people knew! and BTW weed is as bad as cigs but really do you smoke as much week as cigs? if you decide to smoke it...the only smokeless thing that tobacco has is snuff, which causes cancer of the mouth, not very pretty.
