Lawsuit: Man fired for not wearing "666" sticker

Seriously? Lots of idiocy here, and probably more to the story - but it just goes to show the insanity of religion, especially Christianity in America.

Sure, the company could have accomodated him, or he could have just kept his mouth shut and just "forget" to wear the sticker for one work shift. That's why I can't help but think this guy was likely a fuck-up about to be fired for poor performance but saw an opportunity to pull the religion card.

Sounds stupid to me that the company would make a big deal out of someone wearing a sticker. Seems to me that the company should just invest in a whiteboard where they can write how many days they've gone without an accident.

There's definitely more to the story. He may have been suspended over the sticker, but he could have been fired over something else. That's if anything in the article is true.

Couldn't he have worn it upside down and just been supporting Herman Cain's "999" plan?

I wonder how many people in that same company were afraid to wear 13.

Time will tell but as you state I think there is much more to the story
the article said:
Hyatt took the three-day suspension, and was fired at a human resources meeting several days later.
Definitely more. The guy had to have been in trouble in the past ........ either that or the company is a bunch of demons poised to call forth the Father of Darkness and were foiled by one boob refusing to wear his Rune. ;)

Yeah, there is probably more to the story. But, if not, they should not have fired a man for refusing to wear a promotional sticker. At the same time, this man needs to get a grip on reality. He's letting superstition run over him. This is a good example of what happens when stupid meets stupid.
