Last film you watched

World Trade Center.

I've had this for about four years and watched it for the first time today. The film's particular focus on those tragic events was interesting and not quite what I was expecting.

Most touching line was when Nick Cage's character said
You... kept me alive.
.

It's worth watching, Siph?

Its focus is the two Port Authority officers who were rescued. It's a very personal movie with lots of recounting of personal things to keep themselves conscious, interspersed with scenes of the wider events around the families and colleagues of those two. Naturally, a lot of the movie is in the dark.

If you can cope with that kind of thing and that it's a naturally 'slow' movie given the style - then yes, it will appeal.

I'm glad I watched it - because it recounted aspects of those events I didn't really have an awareness of, but I doubt I will watch it again.

Was talking to a co-worker about this last night, actually, and will be borrowing it from him to watch.
