Can someone tell me why bloody horror/gross films are popular...like Saw etc...is it a Y chromozone(sic) or something

They're definatley more popular with women really
because they are awesome, I can watch rape, torture, blood and gore all day, I LOVE it....damn it now you have me craving violence, time to watch A Cat in the Brain again!
Ninja Assassin. Minimal and tired storyline but the action was good and gore level high.
I am meaning to see Ninja Assassin eventually, but there are a ton of other movies I need to see first.
Well, I watched two movies, Fight Club, and Havoc. Both good movies, check 'em out.
Watching "No Reservations" right now...it's actually very good.
