Last film you watched

Session 9.

Built good atmosphere, had a few scary moments but didn't rely on cheap tricks. Interesting story and a wonderful setting. 8/10 or so.

Yay edit:
In A Year of 13 Moons.

My favourite Fassbinder film, though I've only seen 4. I've been trying to watch this for quite some time... I love it.

I got in trouble for torrenting that movie :((

Totally not worth it :( It was ok I guess, the end was good, but the movie itself was kinda meh.

I just watched the usual suspects again, good movie.

What, like you actually got caught???

And you have an opinion I don't see that often about I Am Legend. I thought the first 3/4 of it (especially the first half or so) was great and the ending was crap.

Yeah, I use azures or whatever, I finished downloading it and it started seeding (new laptop, didnt configure it yet), and I got in trouble for seeding a movie =\ Just a warning from WB to Cox (my isp)

Anyways, the movie seemed very zombie generic, failed quarentine, sad family story, loneliness. Very boring boring boring. The end wasnt even amazing, but I enjoy when characters die to be honest. I think it adds much more contrast to the film. I liked the religious overtones, but I felt the actual cure to the disease or whatever was kind of lame also. Overall, didnt really like, didnt really hate it.

Gotcha. BUT YOU'RE WRONG!

Kidding, I just like to randomly e-yell at people. I don't think the story was very good either, and it certainly wasn't original but what really sold me on it was the loneliness. Will Smith did a wonderful job and he really sold how lonely he was... a few examples of parts that I thought were incredible:

When the dog died, because I really really bought into their relationship. When he freaked out at the mannequins. Oh, and I really liked that the zombies (although weren't they closer to vamps, I don't know...), were pretty intelligent. It's boring as text but I also really loved watching Smith and his dog scrounge for food. Like I said, loved the first half especially, then it went downhill a bit at the 3rd quarter, but it was still good, and then the ending was garbage.
