Dark Matter (very loosely based on a true event -- foreign student does not graduate, goes on killing spree and kills self). Would not recommend.

Io non ho paura (I'm Not Scared)

"loosely based on a true story of a kidnapped boy from Milan during the anni di piombo in the 1970s, a time of turmoil and terrorism in Italy"

Excellent !! Cinamatography is supurb -- vivid scenery -- low camera shots.

Highly recommend.

"Snatch"

I'd give this a 10 high. I wonder, if when shown on the big screen, Pitt's speaking parts where shown in subtitles.

Wonderfully funny in spite of some of the raw language.

Great film! You should watch Lock Stock and Roch n Rolla too if you liked it. :thumbup Apparently it only took Brad Pitt a week or two to master the pikey accent and he did a damn good job of it too. :thumbup

On the subject of accents, just watched Chaplin again. Good biopic but Robert Downey's accent is terrible and his acting is average, it pisses me off that they couldn't get an English actor to play Chaplin but think Downey could do better! Epic fail right there!

Watchmen (Director's Cut). At 3hrs and 6minutes it was quite long.

That being said - not the kind of superhero movie I was expecting. It had its moments of awe but I loved the different kind of slant on the genre.

Loved it.

Agreed about Watchmen- good stuff.
Last one I watched was Gran Torino... loved it! Didn't expect it to end like that. And I thought there'd be more about the car, or a gun, but Eastwood made the movie.
